Don Carlos Ávalos Ávalos was born in Riobamba in 1923, in a humble family. His desire to improve led him to educate himself. He got his first job in Guayaquil as a sales executive. Thanks to his excellent level of English, he was hired by the English oil company Anglo Ecuadorian Oilfields. Due to his drive and professionalism, he was hired by the American Consulate in Guayaquil, years later he was transferred to the main Mission of the United States Government. He worked there for more than twenty years, reaching a position that no Ecuadorian had accomplished before.
During that time, he realized the need to create a moving company for international executives and diplomats. In 1958 his dream of creating the first specialized moving company in Ecuador became true. This also connected the country – for the first time – to a network of similar companies around the world.
